Step 3: Get on your board. Now time to get on the board. One of the hardest part of your lesson due to managing the kite, the board and your body position. While your kite is flying at 12 o'clok, sit back in the water supported by your harness. Practice putting your feet into the straps of the board and just simply float there getting used to the feeling. Finally use the power of the kite to pull yourself up into a standing position being careful not to over rotate or you'll fall forward.
